It's about How MUCH you TRUST ME...

My life has been very hectic since the beginning of this semester,
assignments, quizzes, hospital clerkships, reports.. one after another...
Could't even get a chance to take a deep breath.
Always ended up having 1 day or 2 to prepare for the quizzes.

But this line has been lingering in my mind throughout the entire semester,

"It's not about how much time you have, but how much you trust in Me."

and I know, it's from the Lord.
It's an assurance cum reminder from Him.

Psalm 33:16-22 says that

No king is saved by the multitude of an army;
A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

A horse is a vain hope for safety;
Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,

To deliver their soul from death,
And to keep them alive in famine.

Our soul waits for the LORD;
He is our help and our shield.

For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His holy name.

Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You.

Psalm 127:1-2

Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labour in vain who build it;

Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.

It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late, 
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.

These verses are reminding me that,
without God,
no matter how strategic our situation is; or
no matter how hard we work;
without His blessings, nothing is gonna work.
without His blessings, there won't be any fruit coming out from our hard work.

It's not about what my physical eyes are seeing now.
But it's about having Faith in Him.

It's not about how much time I have for my revision,
it's about how much I Trust in Him.

Because even I am left with 1 hour to study for exam,
He can still make a miracle out of it.
He can still let me pass the exam with flying colours.

Because He is God.

On the other hand, without His blessings,
even though I have 1 month to study for 1 subject,
I would not be able to do well either.
Because His hand is not with me.

"Father, please help me to trust in You firmly and be still in You.
And I pray that Your hand will be with me,
helping me win every battle that I needed to take on.
All glory and honour be unto Your Name.

But Father, even if things don't go according to my way or plan,
help me trust that You still love me.
Your love for me never change.

Whether I leave the battlefield as victor or not,
help me give You the glory.

Help me to be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego (Daniel 3:17-18)

"Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace,
and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.

But if not, let it be known to you, O king,
that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."

Help me not to bow to the circumstances, but just TRUST in YOU.

Thank You, Father.
In Jesus' most precious name I pray,
Amen."

Pride

Pride is something very dangerous

It blinds everything

It hardens your heart

You work with your own effort

It is all about “Me, Myself and I”

You want attention

You seek for attention

You want things get done according to your own way

You become impatient

You get jealous easily

You can’t accept anything better than you

Pride eats up your conscious,

You speak harshly

Quick to anger

You don’t feel the peace

You feel empty

You want more from the world

So that you would feel needed

And the cycle goes on

Pride comes in when you think you are bigger than God

Pride comes in when you think know God better than others

Pride comes in when you think you can reach God with your own effort

Pride comes in when you think you can take control over your life

“Joy is gone from our hearts; our dancing has turned into mourning…Because of this our hearts are faint, because of these things our eyes grow dim.” Lamentations 5:15,17

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.” Proverb 3:7

“Salvation is the work of the Lord, not ours.”

It is only by the Blood of the Lamb that we can come to God freely

It is GRACE

When you are filled with pride

Turn to God

Confess with your mouth and seek Him earnestly

Pray hard

Only God can touch you, deep into your heart

Do not let fear overwhelmed you

Fear comes with punishment

Jesus came not to condemn but LOVES

And LOVE drives out fear

God is LOVE

And He is knocking on your door today

No one is too insignificant to be noticed in heaven

“See that you don’t look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:10

“In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” Matthew 18:14

God is Good~~

Lesson #5

Humbling process

“In this world you will have problem. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

They don’t always happen when you ask

and it’s easy to give into your fear

But when you are blinded by your pain

can’t see a way safe through the rain

But still a resilient voice says

LOVE is very near.

Overwhelmed by stress? fear? temptation?

Turn to Jesus, because He has overcome the world.

Just as He promised.

It is a humbling process

Only through circumstances that we will learn to depend on God

It is a privilege

To be disciplined by God Himself

When we called ourselves children of God

We know, it will not be easy

Life is never easy though

But God’s promise is so strong.

He has overcome to world

So love others, just as how you would want others to love you.

Love God, with all your heart, all your strength, all your might…

Give God everything

Your past, Your hurt, Your desire…

Because He has better things for you

Far better than what you have in mind.

Joy that wont be taken away,

Hope that always keep you moving,

Peace that calm your heart

Give God your pieces, and He will make you whole

Give God yourself today

Give Him all

Lesson #4

Forgiven Sins

God is Love

His Love covers every sins human-being could have done

It is all under His divine control

He is ever ready to forgive

With one condition

Full repentance

That’s all He is asking

Blameless does not mean perfection

It means come back to Him in full repentance

No excuses

Just repent

It is an attitude

It is humble

It is an attitude of being humble

and

completely summit to the One that created you and me

Sins are forgiven

Chains being broken

No longer we lives under the lust of flesh

But with the a divine Love that reveals the Truth

“You are forgiven”

Jesus is the perfect Love of God

Do you want this Love?

Come to Jesus today

In Jesus’ name I pray

Lesson #3

Learning to let go

God always allow circumstances to come our way

So that we would learn to depend on His grace

Not our own limited understanding about people

In the end, God knows us the best

Read from Facebook about “Message from God”

Saying that “it’s time for you to let go”

I have no clue about what will happen next but

God really does have His purpose for telling me this.

Call it a co-incidence?

You bet…

Never in her mind where we did take her words seriously

We came to the replacement class

She wasn’t there in the class

We tried to search and ask

I was very angry

Because I don’t think that was right

In my heart I wanted her to know how I felt and how wrong she was

In the end, I walked off without telling her anything

Thank God

The truth is, we signed the attendance for this class yesterday

It’s our freewill to come or not to come today

It was our mistake not to pay full attention to this matter

That’s how we ended up here this morning

Most of the time we can’t see the whole story

But God can

If I choose to release my temper at that moment

I think I will make it worst

Well

It’s a blessing in the end

Isn’t it?

I did make an effort to come

Giving my best and letting it go

God is in control

God is Good

All the time

Amen

Lesson #2

Living the Truth

Gospel is the power of God

For the salvation of people who believes in Him

Salvation changes life

Upside down

Inside out

Completely.

We are living the Truth

The Truth is the Word of God

It changes life.

As we pray and seek for the Truth,

It will be given to us,

According to God’s term, not us.

When we are on the right track with God,

Word of God can transform life.

God is in us, because we are living the Truth~

What an awesome, mind-blowing thoughts,

Given by God.

Praise the Lord.

Lesson #1

God is teaching me how to love

Love the people around you

Doesn’t matter who they are

Where they come from

What they believe

Love them

As who they are

It is HARD!!~

I told myself.

But this is a call from God

I just have to listen, be quiet and watch the work of Lord in me.

It HURTS.

To see them speaking, walking

And doing things that is not pleasing to the eyes of the Lord.

I wanted to stand out

With all my own emotions in it

I wanted to say something.

But God said NO.

Just keep watching and be quiet.

God has to humble me first,

before I could do this.

That I need love them as who they are

Not what I can get from them

No attention seeking,

No jealousy

No…

God will discipline me, He will nudge me

If I do make mistakes like the above mentioned

And He did.

He reminded me as a child of God

I should be able to overcome the world

Love them, but not the sin.

Do not agree with what they are doing,

But learning to love them

as Brother and Sister in Christ to be.

By whose strength I am doing it with?

The answer is obviously God.

Jesus Christ is God’s greatest Testimony of LOVE to the world.

It is not longer about my love which is so limited

But it is about the Love of God.

I cannot do this without His Love.

I am learning to speak a blessing to a Brother and Sister

Rather than keeping grudges inside my heart.

God really did an amazing job in my heart.
